My wife and I moved to PA from Oklahoma about three years ago. My first winter, I tried shoveling the show. It seemed like a never ending battle as our house has a large side drive and a double, rear entry garage. I decided to get a snow blower, but didn't want to spend too much money, so I decided to get an electric snow blower. While it worked great, I wasn't a fan of dragging an extension cord all over the place. The following year I picked up a used gas blower from my neighbor. I used it off and on over a winter. It was an old style blower with fins, so it didn't throw the snow as far as my electric blower with a chute did, but it did an okay job.
This winter, the old blower finally gave up the ghost, so my wife and I decided to go pick up a snow blower this last Saturday. However, the local stations were predicting 8" of snow, so all the blowers (single stage) were gone. We drove all over town looking, but to no avail.
When we got home, I decided to look on Amazon. I came across several blowers, then found this one. While there were no reviews on this item, it qualified for Prime shipping and so $150 cheaper than the next option, so I decided to take a chance.
